Board Meeting
President Ken Thomas
1 st Vice Terry Johnson
2 nd Vice George Purnell
Treasurer Nadine Butz
Secretary Kathy Mikesell
Road Grader
Waiting on Bonnie Car Crusher for price/cost to scrap the grader and transport.
Nadine will ask the Insurance Carrier if there would be a reduction in the premium without the grader.
Road Repair
The main focus will be on road repair this year with no culverts being done. The budget has two lines
one for Repair and a second for Culvert and Gravel, these will be combined, and the money will be
put towards road repair.
Due to not having the road grader, the fuel tank will be sold. The sale will be put to the Pike Trails
members first.
Terry and George will drive over the roads and track their mileage so that the amount of gravel can be
more accurately estimated. The current cost of gravel is for 175 feet x 20 feet x 2 inches would cost
$658.
Budget
The budget for this fiscal year was approved by the board members and will be voted on at the
annual meeting by the members.
Newsletter & Discussion at Annual Meeting
Future road repair and explanation of the costs involved will be discussed at the annual meeting. The
plan is to try to repair 1/3 of the roads annually. Also, the major roads (Deer, Antelope, Elk and
Badger) will be graded annually. Possibly a workday will be scheduled with the association members
to remove trees etc. for better drainage.
The newsletter will be mailed out by next weekend (June 15th or 16th) or Monday June17th. Included in
the newsletter will be a choice for the property owners if they would prefer the newsletter emailed to
them or receive the newsletter through USPS.
Fiscal Year Ending
The current fiscal year is June 1st to May 31st, would be changed to September 1st to August 31st .
This would be easier to create a more accurate budget for that year after most of the dues have been
collected.
